Slave collar Top.

I noticed some adverts for simple titanium or steel collars for your slave. They came with special invisible screws that tighten up at the back and make the ring look permanently attached. Quite pervy but makes me wonder how I can subvert the image of the slave collar/ring some how. With that we end up with the ring collar top. This is a simple top except that back straps are attached to the front via a metal ring. I quite like the ring to have some subtle binary message engraved on it.

Sour pout

Back to that perennial favourite – the cat-suit. This one introduces three element which on their own would be quite interesting. Firstly we have an under the nipple cut. This cut space can either be a literal space (difficult to do) or a bridged with a thin fill of see through rubber. I can’t cope with these suits which have the breasts removed – why bother? This suit also gives a strong hint at what lies beneath, quite good if you sport a large nipple shield or something. So just about wearable in a club.

This catsuit also has a halter-top with some shoulder showing. I keep finding myself covering the neck for some reason. Arm has a dominate icon on it and the model’s arm has a bondage icon. The arms end in built in gloves.

Finally we have five capsule shaped holes cut diagonally across the stomach. These would have to be backed by either strong wiring (uncomfortable) or more transparent rubber or stocking like nylon.

Well what’s so wrong with having a fetish for makeup? I came over this model and marke-up artist and quite like the work. I must say I’m far more like a man when it comes to make up. Give a man make up and you get Steve Strange (Visage –fade to grey ), Adam Ant nose stripes, David Bowie face zizags, give a girl the same make up and you get ‘invisible lip balm’. I agree with who ever it was that said there is nothing that feminizes you, empowers you, and transforms you more than to the right shade of blood red scarlet.

Double hoops, stick-on and cloak

Something simple two hoops one over the shoulder and breast. This is another example of a combination of using pericings and body glue for the knickers. This also shows a simple cloak plus black stockings and long opera gloves.

I’ve seen a lot of fuss about veils recently. Shame I think it would be quite nice to have a dark veil in the wardrobe on the closet. You know, you have a bad night you look like shit and you need to go out. Now it would be nice to reach in and pull out a veil pop it on and go out. Well you can dream on.

Fetish chair?

Not much today. I found this ultra bellini chair at Design within reach I thought this was a very cool feitsh chair.

flesh hooks

I do like piercings in principle but you do end up with stuff poking up beneath your latex. I began wondering if it was possible to combine piercings with fetish gear. What would happen if you and your latex outfit got pierced simultaneously? So if you had a nipple piercing the ring would weld your second skin to you. Ok so you need a special reinforced hole for your metal flesh and you need to make sure the piercing had some way of fixing it on. I think there are a number of subversive thoughts about being permanently attached to your latex attire.

Practicalities aside it does offer some cool design possibilities to eliminate the limitations of needing continuous tubes around you. Naturally to look good you would need something which would keep the edges attached to your body. This would keep the material flat and stretched over you like a artists canvas on a frame. For this I’m guessing you need body glue something like nylons bod glue or ball room dancing glue or actors wig glue something which isn’t that permanent. I’m sure you could have great fun experimenting trying to find the perfect stuff. You know dress up, go to a club outrage everyone, dance wildly and see which adhesive is the best then when you get home you can be punished for wickedness by having the stuff quickly ripped off. This is definitly another design strand for me.

I came across this page and fell in love immediately. I love the mixture between hair, wires, cables whatnot all done in a lovely cool cybery way. If I where in London or Barcelona I would definitely think about it. I do love the idea of doing something similar but slightly more black more clean. I guess what excites me is the semi permanence of it.

Back to the theme of working with the basics. This is a nearly topless cat suit with two changes. The first is a (wire) reinforced hole to help show off that wonderful belly button piercing your friends talked you into. The second is a collar with a connection to the front. Simple direct sexy – release the inner slave.

street wear

I quite liked the work at www.style.com by Gareth Pugh. Generally, I don’t approve of the appropriation of fetish forms for high fashion. They generally don’t get it right (the current trend for high heeled boots being one rant I don’t want to get into). That said I saw this image and was taken by a number of feelings. Firstly, I quite like the juxtaposition of skin tightness and the loose baggy cloth. Secondly I like the appropriation of the fetish hood. Thinking about it I guess what I like is the image that that could be me walking down the street in that. I think I’m a little inclined to the image of being both on display and completely anonymous at the same time. Ok to be realistic I would have to wait until it was generally acceptable to wear what is effectively a heavy veil. I would like to believe that if enough people did then you could get a lot more women following.

Adoration

You think you’re the only one who needs the opium of good design and then you come across a website by fraeulein-ehrhardt. Lushious stuff, although is this just me or would you feel awkward running around with your tits hanging out all the time. Maybe they should try it first. Definitely some cool if small shots of my Christmas stocking filler.

Makes you wonder what makes these Germans so cool.

pretty in pink (well yellow)

I've never been a big fan of colored latex anything but black is such a sacrilege. I have been of the opinion the lighter the color the less the shine shows. Seeing this lovely yellow cat suit from www.latex.at changed my mind for good. I love the fun use of vibrant color, it would definitely brighten up my day if I was wearing it. I think I was sold by the non pouty model, definitely a big plus in my book. We need more people having fun. The whole website is an orgy of wonderful pictures.

glove minx

I thought I would show what some symbols might be like. This minx is sporting a long rubber opera glove with symbols sub, shoes (fetish) and like girls (sorry boys maybe next time). I love long opera gloves I don’t know any outfit that can’t be make truly sexy purely by the introduction of latex of opera gloves.

Fetish symbols

I love writing and symbols, don’t you? I liked the special glyphs the vampires had in Blade to mark ownership of each familiar. I also like the secret symbols of the hobos www.slackaction.com firstly they are strong simple shapes easy to make, easy to spot even when quite distorted. I also like bliss symbols www.symbols.net the are also strong and simple but also have the ability to be combined in different ways to make a new meaning from different intersections of symbols. Recently I found some of the oldest writing yet known, I loved it and wanted to do some my self (newscientist.com)

I’ve always like secret writing in one story the units (subs) had special hoods. On the forehead of each of each unit was a small pictographic text. The secret symbols listed out the inner wishes of the particular sub, so there was one for likes being smacked, another for a preference for being tied up, another for high tolerance and desire for pain. The concept was that the masters (who knew the language) could read the symbols and could then dominate in the appropriate way with out any lengthy and fantasy crushing pre-scene interview. I guess to be practical the text would need a phonetic alphabet to spell out the safeword.

I thought that some symbolic writing on latex/PVC/rubber clothes would be the simplest way to create strong patterns that might pimp up an otherwise classic design with out making them elaborate or worst still frilly.

I decided to sketch out some possible symbols – I had a number of limits on my design, they had to be strong bold simple symbols – that is they clearly mean something but what? They had to appear on lots of different items fetish gear but also purses, earrings, bracelets, badges, bags, stickers for laptops even tattoos. They had to not be previously trademarked items and have the same meaning in all orientations. So this is my first attempt(s).

Sublime Senze

Which appears to be an online magazine called sense. How utterly wonderful, the way fetish clothing should me. Wonderfully laid out pages of high gloss pictures of beautiful men and woman dressed for playtime. This is a magazine about people getting dressed to thrill them selves with a hint of sexual overtone. This isn’t a porn pretending to be a clothing catalogue – there isn’t a miserable looking women in sight. I subscribed immediately so should you. So European the tasteful design just oozes out.

Jewellery

I have a love hate relationship with jewellery. I like hating it I hate likening it. I love either practical or sensual things in equal measure, frippery and finery be dammed. Sorry if this all comes over a bit wordy but I’ve just finished watching J.A’s Pride and Prejudice and you know how that makes you more you know periphrastic than good manners might alone dictate.

I’ve been musing on what is known as industrial or orbital piercings. That is where the piercing passes through the ear more than once. I also like the notion of more permanent earrings more like a piercing proper that can’t be taken out after the party is over. I like the idea of a 4/5 pointed star in the ear with the arms of the star passing through the ear. This is the most acceptable sketch I can do so far.


On the pratical front I like the way that Ipod ear headphone buds are becoming popular. The long white cord down to the ipod in question does make a strong visual display. The down side is its like an arrow pointing to nothing. It would be good to make more of a display at the centre of the ear. To that end I’ve been wondering about two designs. The first would be like traditional ear bugs but with a one or two carrot dimond centered on the outer part of the bud.

The other would be a service where you recived a pack in the post. The pack contains a putty like substance you force in your ear to form a perfect seal. The putty hardens and you pull it out posting it back to the designer. The designer then casts a platinum/sliver cast of the plug and drills a small hole through it. The outer surface would either continue a mark, pattern or diamond on display on the outside.

I also quite like the notion of producing high fashion versions of hearing aids. I mean having large amounts of metal hanging on your ear, something which you can’t tune out, something to make your constantly aware of your head and ears.

Relase the inner slave

This is a very simple idea, a large flat tube which is tight enough to hold around the arms and breasts, then polished to perfection. With matching short skirt and gloves process a very pleasing result.

This feral model was told to find a selection of fallen leaves. From the group one was selected. The leaf pattern used as a basis for the shoulder tattoo.

Miss Adventure

This is a long sleeved dress with a high collar, this would consist of two materials, the sides are made from either a very thin opaque rubber at very thin translucent rubber or tights style nylons or fishnet like stockings like material. The vertical bar is a very thick rubber sheet almost a uniform width but tapered at the neck. There are two vertical bars front and back both have writing symbols. Good for formal parties with the boss huh?

Long latex dress

I like the versatility of rubber. This cocktail dress has a large thick band around the chest and over the arms suggesting a link with bondage. I think this shows the separation between true rubber enthusiasts and people making erotic clothing. The thing you notice about ‘naughty ware’ is the amount of flesh exposed, yes a rubber bikini might be cheap and easy to hide but then you’re wearing it your wearing FOR him not your self. Yes you might given the right body look sexy in it but you don’t feel sexy or sensual. You’re not going to sit in the office all day thinking about the moment of getting home and pulling it on that night.

For that you need coverage, the more the better. Weirdly the more square feet of Rubber the more sensually erotic you become. Imagine feeling free to go out in this walking around town going to a club or party sensually enclosed, feel the looks the envious eyes track your every move. While everyone is looking at you, you feel the material move over your skin making love to the slightest shift of your flesh. The long opera gloves are integral to the design but would be separate to the actual dress its self. The centre of your chest could contain a dom/sub symbol attached or printed on the large ring. Think of using this with a very expensive dimond necklace of silver sub collar for a contrasting effect. Don’t forget to polish it thoroughly before use.

Angle wings with asymmetrical zip

Back to working with the classics plus. Ok its more work but I like the effect of an asymmetrical front zip. Going back a step we also see the back with a angle wings tattoo design.

hedonydesign

I've just been checking out www.hedonydesign.com I like the stuff but I must say it does exhibit the quintessential issues I have with modern latex design. Firstly it is over elaborate and secondly its not tight enough. For me rubber isn’t a fabric it’s a material, it only looks good when its highlighting the sensual curves. Lose and wrinkled clothes don’t do it for me.

the missDress.

This design shows two of my interests, firstly how to do something to the basic mistress dress while skill keeping it simple and direct.
I also have a passion for long term liveability. One day the ultimate perv material will arrive, it will be as strong as leather, as inherently shiny as PCV and as stretchy as rubber and it will touch like silk. Crucially it should breath. One day a pervy scientist will make the right discovery. I waver about rubber, I like the enclosure rubber brings, and I do think the hotter it gets the sexier it gets. On the other had you just want to be able to live in it all the time. I read the blogs about people ‘training’ them selves to sleep in rubber and fully empathies with them. It would be great to be able to wear a cat suit for a few days, snugly nested inside and fantastically sexy on the outside. Still until that day comes I think we need to design with ware in mind.

This mistress dress as a series of holes up the front ( and if you are a good boy up the back to). The holes would either be true holes with a wire loop to reinforce the edges, or a hole backed by a sheer nylon. The holes rise as far as you dare, and possibly move down to show that belly button piercing. Naturally the holes are easy getting the right fit is the hard part. This design has a strong polo neck and is complemented by a pair of long opera gloves. Shoulders are free to breath and show off that gorgeous tattoo to.

In this sketch the model has her hair done in rubber dreadlocks. I saw this once in a copy of SkinTwo and loved it. The hair is divided into long logs and pulled down the centre of a long rubber tube. If any hair extends beyond the length of the tube it is ruthlessly trimed. Once the hair has been captured in the dread locks the tubes are polished to perfection. Finally the tubes are cut back to form a good ‘cut’. Yes you build to a wig but I prefer the blending of hair and technology. I also like the adding other cybery elements like electrical wires, metal rings, rags and beads to the mix. One day I will find a clever adventurous hairdresser who will try this for me.

miss-dress with text

Returning to the theme of upgrading classics with patterns and writing. This is a classic above the knee log sleeved cocktail dress in rubber with a high polo neck. One hip and one arm ( left) are detailed in complex symbols.

Animal pattern

This is another classic cat suit variation. This suit comes with an animal pattern down either side. Notice this has a inbuilt D-link at the neck and comes with usual 3 way zipper down the back(not shown). This version shown with a comet logo on the front left. Also shown a jacket made from a number of rubber tubes with a silk lining. Dark glasses optional, high heeled pumps are nearly mandatory.

Catsuit with strip

Catsuits – don’t you just love them? The problem is how to do something different with a slickly fitted cat suit. My first design came from a story I wrote called the PANOPTICON. It was intended as a sexual/fetish parody of certain TV reality shows like Big Brother. Eventually the unsuspecting contestants have to live in the house in a cat suit. The cat suits had the word Panopticon written down the side of their bodies.

So the key idea here is the patterned stripe down the side. The white of the writing/pattern is placed to help guide the eye to the key areas of the body without smothering them. I have very firm ideas on the ultimate live in cat suit and will address that later.

Why me?

Who am I ? I don’t really know my self. I do like latex, rubber, pvc and other glossy cloths , I like dressing up in it, I like seeing others in it. There can be no greater pleasure then the sight of a well fitted rubber catsuit polished to perfection, except possibly for wearing it. I think my problem is that I don’t think there is enough well designed fetish clothing out there. I’m appalled by the amount of good rubber and good models ruined by excessively decorated latex. I decided to take a stand and put out some of my sketches for more pleasurable dressing.
